Respect the Community
This is a CHRISTIAN forum. That means there will be NO censoring of Christian talk, materials, images, etc. in ANY of the forums. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join this group, but if you're offended by Christianity you either must find a way to ignore it or find a different group. Yes, that's harsh, but it's the truth. Again, this is a CHRISTIAN forum, and as such, promotion of other religions that do not recognize Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior and the only way to Heaven, will NOT be tolerated. Neither will blinkies or other things in signatures that promote other religions or blast Christianity in any way. Disrespect of Christianity will NOT be tolerated, and you will find yourself banned if you cannot respect the community.

New Members
A requirement of your membership here is to post an introduction in the Introductions forum. Tell us who you are, how you found us, and anything else you'd like to share. We want to get to know you!
Top

Be Civil
No personal attacks. If you feel the need to confront someone, please do it via private message and do it respectfully. Also, back-stabbing will not be tolerated. If you have issues with someone, please discuss with THEM either via PM or e-mail. Do NOT talk about other members behind their back. Anyone violating this will receive ONE warning. After that, management will respond as necessary - actions ranging from temporary suspension of your membership to removal and even banning.
Top

Be Respectful
Everyone is entitled to their beliefs and opinions, but should always be respectful when sharing these opinions. Also realize that while this is a Christian community, members here represent many different denominations. Please agree to disagree on doctrinal issues when necessary to keep the peace.

Punishment for breaking this rule may include, but is not limited to, loss of post count, loss of privileges, temporary suspension, and even banning. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Unsolicited Proselytizing

Members are asked to respect others' choice of religion and to avoid unsolicited proselytizing altogether. DO NOT APPROACH ANYONE VIA PM to do so, either! SOLICITED proselytizing is fine, but you MUST respect the other individual's decision, whatever it might be. Failure to abide by this rule will result in disciplinary action, up to and including banning when necessary.

No Bullying
Cyberbullying, on or off FROGs, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. This includes anything that might make another FROG feel unloved, unwanted, and unwelcome here. Reports of such treatment of one FROG by another will be handled appropriately as determined by site Admin. Punishment may include, but is not limited to, loss of post count, loss of privileges, temporary suspension, and even banning. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Watch Your Language
This is a Christian forum, so please act accordingly. To avoid offending other users, please refrain from cursing or using vulgarities when posting to the general community. There is a censor on this site, but it doesn't catch everything, so please choose your words carefully.

Post in the Right Place
We have different forums for a reason, and that is to help members easily find the topics that interest them. At no time is it acceptable to post in the wrong forum for the sake of more people seeing your post. Your post will be moved immediately. Also, please DO NOT post everything in General Chat - think about where your post belongs BEFORE posting, please! If you're unsure where it should go, make your best guess. If we feel it should be elsewhere, a Moderator will move it to the appropriate forum.

Use the Technical Support Forum
If you have any technical issues here, please start by checking the forum FAQ (link is on the right toward the top of the page). There is a Technical Support forum available for all support inquiries not found there, or if you need further clarification of something. Please review the existing posts to see if your question has already been answered. If it has not, start a new topic and describe the problem you are having in detail, including what page you were on when the issue occurred (if applicable) and the exact error message (again, if applicable). Do not PM Moderators or Administrators for technical support.

Test Messages
Please refrain from posting test messages to see your signature, avatar, etc. After making changes, you can see them by viewing either your profile or one of your older posts.

Advertising
You may post advertisements for your personal business, eBay auctions, or items you hope to sell in the FROGs MarketPlace. Please see that forum for details. Please limit your advertising to that forum. Do not put advertisements banners, blinkies, or links in your signature. You will be contacted by a Moderator if we find you in violation of this rule. If you do not react appropriately and in a timely manner, we will edit your signature for you. If you continue to violate this policy, you will be disallowed from having a signature. Enough rebellion on your part will lead to a suspension of your membership and possible removal as a last resort.

After that, you will be removed. If you are activated but don't post for 30 days, you will receive a reminder e-mail. Forum Etiquette

Identify Your Subject Matter
Not everyone has time to read all forum postings. To ensure that your message reaches the right people in a timely manner, identify your subject matter clearly in the subject line. Subjects like "a question" and "help!!" are not very helpful.
Top

Use Your "Inside Voice"
Typing in ALL CAPITAL LETTERS is the Internet equivalent of screaming. Please don't post your thread topics in all capital letters. Using all caps occasionally on a word or two for emphasis is fine. Just do NOT post entire posts in all caps (except when venting in our Venting Room).
Top

No Cross-posting
It is never appropriate to post the same message to two (or more) forums. Please don't do it. If your topic fits in more than one forum, please pick the most appropriate forum and post it there.
Top

Update your thread
If you have an update to a situation and the original post still exists, please post your update to the same thread; there is no need to start a new one. The users who were following the situation will be more likely to see the update if you add it to the original thread.
Top

Use Private Messaging and/or Shout It Out
If you are part of a thread that becomes a two-person conversation, please take your conversation to Shout It Out, Private Messaging, or even off the forums and use e-mail to continue your conversation.
Top

Write So Others Can Read
Please try to use proper punctuation, spelling, etc. to help other people read your posts. Of these, punctuation is of the utmost importance, as reading one paragraph with no breaks can be quite tiring. Management reserves the right to edit such posts as needed. PLEASE TRY TO AVOID THIS, as it's unfair to staff to have to spend all of their time editing hard-to-read posts.
